The science fiction sub-genre space opera has almost disappeared during the last couple of years. Series and franchises like Star Trek, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica are all absent from our TV schedules.

Watching Star Wars: The Machete Order

IV, V, II, III, VI

That's the so called "Machete Viewing Order" for the Star Wars saga. It's ignoring Episode I and interleaving the original movies with the two prequels that's left.

Battlestar Galactica

My long running project of watching all 17 seasons of Stargate (SG-1, Atlantis and Universe) is nearing its end and I need a new Sci-Fi series to watch when I'm done, and the choice fell on Battlestar Galactica. So I bought myself a gift: all four seasons and the two feature length Razor and The Plan.
